Dario Ciangherotti

Dario has worked in the animation and photographic industry for over 20 years, and remains as passionate about delivering the highest quality imagery as ever.

He began his career working as part of the camera team on cult classic television productions such as Clocking Off and Bob and Rose. As his career progressed, Dario discovered the world of animation, this was to be the platform that launched his lifelong passion for technical lighting.

Dario has worked on high profile productions, including but not limited to Bob the Builder, Pingu and The Clangers. During the course of his career Dario has been an integral part of three Bafta award winning productions. A short list of clients include, the BBC,Hit Entertainment, Coolabi, Freemantle Media, Netflix, Universal kids and Ragdoll Productions.

Throughout his career in animation, Dario has been building his portfolio of bespoke photography utilising  his creative vision and outstanding attention to detail. Dario has been involved in high profile campaigns featuring Thandiwe Newton for oil of olay and Christiano Ronaldo for Portuguese bank BES.

Looking forward, Dario would like  to draw on his experience in technical lighting in order to focus on product photography. He has been expanding his scope to include high speed photography, capturing elusive and seemingly impossible shots. This style of photography is especially well suited for the advertising of products within the cosmetics and drinks industries, as can be seen within the existing portfolio of photography on his website.

Dario is always looking to expand his skill set and repertoire, and relishes any challenge. He thoroughly enjoys the process of each project, from conception to completion, what ever the artistic medium.
